Li is a young and underprivileged girl who lives in Japan. Inspired by the story of Memoirs of a Geisha, she decides to dedicate her life to become a geisha herself. In this age of technology, she forgoes the usual written memoir and chooses to document her experiences on her LiveJournal. Seeing as how geishas are just fancy Asian prostitutes, she quickly garners are large following.
Since the sexual content of Li's posts are strictly prohibited by the LiveJournal terms of service, a covert team known only as The Moderators is sent out to find and detain Li. She is now on the run.
Desperate, Li seeks help from her followers and reluctantly accepts an offer from an older gentlemen who has been an avid follower for quite some time, commenting on every update Li posts, ending each and every one with "xoxo ;)"
He turns out to be a super creep (go figure), so Li flees during the night after he passes out from eating too many microwave egg rolls. Li is now running for her life from The Moderators and attempting to avoid a super-obsessed, white guy with a way-too-specific interest in Asian girls.
She documents the entire adventure on her Twitter.
