Brightly colored flowers, kids having fun at a carnival, easy 50s music playing in the background. Everything is seen through a warm, but soft filter that really sets up a light, happy mood. This is the epitome of pleasantness.

We see a smiling police officer proudly waving and saluting the camera. This man could not be happier. A little girl begins narrating:

My dad… My dad is a police officer. He is strong, kind, and like a superhero. He helps those who get lost or lose something. He works really hard for everyone. I would like to become a police officer just like my dad.

Then his head explodes.

Welcome to Tokyo Gore Police.

I've actually seen that film and I have to say if you give it a chance, it's not THAT bad after all! Story above is just small part of the beginning. Sure, posing and gore continues, but it gets even weirder and somewhat funny.

This movie was great. I think the commercials that appeared at random were the best part - the one with the schoolgirls advertising razor blades for cutting your wrists was hilarious. "Cutting is cute!"

If you enjoyed this movie, then you'd definitely like Machine Girl. Machine Girl is brought to life by the same production company (Fever Dreams) and is, although not as gorey, almost as ridiculous! I got a great laugh out of both of these movies and they come full circle well beyond terrible and back to hilarious and entertaining. Two thumbs chopped right off!!!

Lawlz, great movie.. if you have netflix, go see it! Nao!

Though you have to give it to Japan.. everyone has a couple of gallons of blood in them from the looks of it... wonder what would happen if you just get a small cut? Probably end up making a river of blood.. lol
